ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's tennis team hosted Moravian this morning inside the Bower's Center. The Greyhounds defeated the Blue Jays, 1-8,
Stefanos Billis picked up the lone win for Etown at no. 2 singles in a thrilling three-set match. Billis dropped the first set, 1-6 before winning, 6-2, 10-7.
At no. 1 singles,
Max Lauver also had a thrilling match but fell, 6-3, 0-6, 10-12.
Sam Langer fell, 2-6, 1-6 at no. 3 singles,
Ryan Kraychik fell, 2-8 at no. 4 singles, and
Luke Paulson fell, 0-8 at no. 5 singles. At no. 6 singles,
Isaac Reichenbach fell, 0-8.
In doubles play, Lauver and Billis fell, 2-8 at no. 1 doubles. At no. 2 doubles, Langer and Paulson were defeated, 2-8 and at no. 3 doubles, Kraychik and Reichenbach fell, 1-8.
Etown will travel to Immaculata on Saturday, September 30.
