WILKES-BARRE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's tennis team completed their two-day competition at the King's (Pa.) Invitational, Sunday.
In the first flight of singles,
Max Lauver fell 6-2, 6-2 to King's (Pa.). In flight two,
Stefanos Billis fell to King's (Pa.). In the third flight of singles,
Sam Langer defeated Penn College, 6-2, 0-6, 10-5 before falling to FDU-Florham in the next round, 1-6, 1-6.
Ryan Kraychik fell to Susquehanna in flight four.
In the fifth flight,
Luke Paulson dropped his match, 2-6, 0-6 to King's (Pa.).
Isaac Reichenbach defeated Lycoming, 6-4, 6-4 before falling, 4-6, 2-6 to King's (Pa.) in flight six. In flight seven,
Kyler Henne fell, 6-3, 1-6, 7-10 to King's (Pa.).
In doubles play, Lauver and Billis fell 7-8(2) to Millersville. Langer and Paulson fell, 5-8 to FDU. Kraychik and Reichenbach fell, 0-8 to Scranton. Henne and
Ethan Zelinsky fell, 7-8(2) to Misericordia.
The Blue Jays will open up Landmark Conference play this coming Saturday, September 23 at Goucher at 12PM.
