ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Junior Erin Miller placed 13th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the Elizabethtown College women's track & field team.

Miller, who qualified inside the top 10 in the javelin for the championship meet at St. John Fisher, threw a season and career-best 43.42m at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships.

In Thursday's prelims, Miller hit 39.64m (130'0") on her first attempt in the second flight. That mark had her 10th overall with two throws remaining.

Unable to better that mark, after three throws Miller was left out of the finals and 13th overall at 39.64m.
