Griffin, Langen receive USILA All-America honors

LOUISVILLE, Kent. -- For the first time since 2019, the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse program had a pair of players recognized as USILA All-America. Jacob Griffin and Riley Langen each earned Honorable Mention from the USILA in Wednesday's announcement from the organization. They are the seventh and eighth players, respectively, to be named all-americans for the Blue Jays and the 11th and 12th overall for the program.

Griffin, the first face-off all-america honoree for Elizabethtown, had an outstanding season in the circle for the Blue Jays, setting new school and conference records along the way. The graduate student was named All-Landmark First Team and Defensive Player of the Year for the conference.

Langen, already a USA Lacrosse Magazine honoree, receives his second national honor of the year after dominating the Landmark all season long. The senior led the league in assists and points along with the per-game averages. He was second in Division III in assists per game and seventh in points per game for Etown while also setting new school game and season records as well as conference game and season records. Langen was a First Team selection and Offensive Player of the Year.

They are the first teammates since Jeremy Klipple and Tom Mahoney to be named USILA All-America in the same season and the fourth pair overall for the program to do so.
