TOWSON, Md. -- After a strong showing this past weekend, junior
Erin Miller was named the Landmark Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for a third time in her career on Tuesday for the Elizabethtown College women's track & field team. Miller competed in the javelin at both the Messiah Invitational and the Bison Outdoor Classic.
At Messiah on Saturday, Miller was the runner-up in the jav competition with a mark of 36.45m.
On Sunday, she came back to throw a season-best 41.79m at Bucknell to place seventh overall. She was also the top Division III finisher at the meet.
Miller's throw puts her atop the Landmark javelin rankings and 10th in NCAA Division III. Miller competed at the national championship meet in the jav a season ago.
