WILKES-BARRE, Pa.—The Elizabethtown women's tennis team split their two matches today at King's (Pa.). The Blue Jays dropped the first match, 3-6 to Rutgers-Camden before defeating King's (Pa.), 6-3.
Against Rutgers-Camden,
Megan Hawkins and
Adriana Burmeister won, 8-6 at no. 3 doubles. At no. 5 singles, Hawkins won, 6-3, 6-3 and Burmeister won, 6-0, 6-3 at no. 6 singles.
Against King's (Pa.),
Kaylee Mustard and
Morgan Bleicher won, 8-0 at no. 2 doubles and Hawkins and Burmeister won, 8-5 at no. 3 doubles.
At no. 3 singles, Mustard was victorious winning, 6-1, 7-5, Bleicher won, 6-2, 6-2 at no. 4 singles, and Hawkins won, 6-4, 6-2 at no. 5 singles. Burmeister picked up a, 6-3, 6-4 win at no. 6 singles.
