SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- Alex Kilgour recorded a hat trick for the Elizabethtown College men's lacrosse team in a 13-7 loss at Swarthmore on Saturday. Colin Kondracki added a pair of goals for the BLue Jays.

Connor Stewart put Elizabethtown (1-3) in front 1-0 in the first two minutes of the game, thought the Garnet were able to level the non-conference contest less than a minute later.

Kilgour tallied two of his three goals in the first, his second of which came from Colin Cummings' pass with 59 seconds left in the quarter to get Etown back within a goal, 4-3.

Kondracki scored consecutive goals for the Blue Jays in the second quarter, but still Etown trailed by a goal. Ben O'Connor also scored for Elizabethtown in the second as they went into halftime still down a goal, 7-6.

Swarthmore (3-1) held Etown scoreless in the third and built upon their lead with three more goals. They led 10-6 after three.

Riley Langen assisted on Kilgour's third of the day, though it'd be the only goal the Blue Jays would get in the fourth as the Garnet limited Etown to one goal in the second half of play.

Brayden Franey made 10 saves in goal for the Jays. 

Elizabethtown will host Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday, March 8, at 7 p.m.
