GRANTHAM, Pa.—The Elizabethtown wrestling team placed third overall out of eight teams with 117.5 points at the Messiah Invitational.
Ethan Liptzin placed third at 125, winning by major decision, 8-3 over Brendan Johnston of Weaton.
Braden Schuyler took first place at 133, winning by decision, 10-6 over
Deven Jackson.
Brian Schneider won first by tech fall at 165 over Zach Needles of Messiah.
Traisach Roland claimed third at 197 with a win by fall over Michah Kunkle of Messiah in 5:29.
Dylan Waller placed second at 285 as he fell in the first-place match to Sterling McLaughlin of Cornerstone.
Kurt Driscoll placed fourth also at 285, falling in the third-place match to Mohamed Abdelatty of
Ursinus in 2:04. Finally,
Jimmy Yeingst placed sixth falling by tech fall to Hayden Benner of Messiah.
