Blue Jays Edge Bryn Mawr, Down Cabrini

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- The final result of the Elizabethtown women's swim team's meet vs. Bryn Mawr again came down to the final relay for the second week in a row. The Blue Jays edged Bryn Mawr 134-126 while downing Cabrini, 212-12 in a tri-meet inside Alumni Pool. 
 
In the first event of the day in the 200-medley relay, the team of Maddey Brelsford, Emma Sabalaske, Kaylee Blair, and Sarah Marston claimed first with a time of 1:56.82. In the 1000 freestyle, Hailey Poulos (12:02.12) and Katie Midura (12:16.92) finished second and third respectively. Gracie Harding came in second with a time of 2:08.57 in the 200 freestyle while Olivia Hillman followed with a time of 2:11.81.

Elizabethtown took the top three spots in the 100 backstroke with Blair leading the way, touching the wall at 1:05.23. In the 100 breaststroke, Sabalaske finished second, Kortny Green finished third, and Maggie Myers took fourth. In the 200 butterfly, Blair finished with a time of 2:24.77 while Poulos came in with a time of 2:34.39.

In the 50 freestyle, Harding took the top spot with a time of 26.17 and Marston took the top spot in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54.88. Brelsford clocked in at 2:23.86 to finish first in the 200 backstroke and Molly Nagle finished fourth coming in with a time of 2:40.88. Blair added another first place to her day as she won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:33.98.

In the final relay the quartet of Megan Benson, Hillman, Harding, and Marston finished first by three seconds over Bryn Mawr. The Blue Jays clocked in with a time of 1:45.74.
