ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- The Elizabethtown College men's and women's soccer teams had four Blue Jays between them earn spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for Division III.
Gavin Domsohn is the first Blue Jay from the men's soccer program to earn the all-district honor since Martin Fevre and Rodrigo Barrera in 2015. Domsohn had a career-high 1 goal and 5 assists for 7 points and started all 18 games for Etown this season.
For the women's program, it's the first time since 2001 that the Jays had three named to the All-District Team (Nicole Hundley, Megan Halladay, Dina Jingoli). Representing Elizabethtown in 2023 is
Mia Cudmore,
Olivia Herbert, and two-time all-conference selection
Jenna Hoffmann.
Cudmore and Herbert started all 18 for the Blue Jays and anchored the defense while Hoffmann produced 6 goals and 2 assists for 14 points, second-most on the team.Â
All four athletes will advance for a chance to appear on the organization's All-America First-, second and third team to be announced in mid-December.
