NEWVILLE, Pa. -- In a loaded field of many of the country's best, senior Kelty Oaster placed among the top 20 for the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team on Saturday at the Dickinson Pre-National Meet at Big Spring High School.

Oaster's strong start to the XC season continued Saturday with yet another impressive showing for Elizabethtown. The senior ran a new 6,000-meter course personal best at the meet, dropping her time by six seconds down to 22:32.5 to finish inside the top 20.

Kauffman was just off her personal best at the 6k distance in 142nd. Isabell Anderson also set a new PR for the Jays. Kennedy was just behind Anderson with Smith wrapping up the top five for Etown.

The Blue Jays will compete at the LVC Last Chance Meet on Friday, October 20, one week ahead of the 2023 Landmark Conference Championships at Juniata.
