IMMACULATA, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team cruised to two wins, Friday evening in a tri-meet with Immaculata and Goucher. The Blue Jays defeated Immaculata, 220-41 and Goucher, 208-49.
In the first event of the evening, the quartet of
Maddey Brelsford,
Emma Sabalaske,
Megan Benson, and
Kaylee Blair took first in the 200 medley relay.
Hailey Poulos claimed the top spot in the 1000 freestyle coming in with a time of 12:16.02. Etown finished first and second in the 200 freestyle with
Gracie Harding and
Katie Midura clocking in at 2:09.44 and 2:12.30, respectively. In the 50 breaststroke, the Blue Jays finished in the top-three with Sabalaske leading the way.
In the 100 butterfly, Poulos clocked in at 1:07.81 to finish first. In the 50 freestyle, Harding finished first touching the wall at 26.33 while
Maggie Myers took third with a time of 27.22. In the 100 freestyle, Benson and Myers finished first and second. Brelsford (1:07.17) finished first in the 100 backstroke with Sabalaske following with a time of 1:08.79. In the 100 breaststroke, Harding claimed first with
Kortny Green finishing closely behind with a time of 1:12.57.
In the 500 freestyle, Midura took first clocking in at 6:06.54. In the 200 IM,
Kylee Parks finished first coming in with a time of 2:28.75. In the final event, the team of
Kaylee Blair,
Sarah Marston, Harding, and Sabalaske took first with a time of 1:46.87.
