SELINSGROVE, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's swim team defeated Susquehanna, Saturday afternoon 133-79.
The Blue Jays kicked off the meet in a thrilling fashion as they narrowly out touched Susquehanna in the 200 medley relay. The team of Dylan Fizgerald,
Connor Oswald,
Austin Smith, and
AJ West clocked in at 1:40.30 while the Riverhawks touched at 1:40.64.
Leif Hoffman took the top spot in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:32.77 In the 200 freestyle, West finished second while Fitzgerald took third. A. Smith claimed first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.91 while
Liam Quick finished third.
Hoffman added another first place finish to his day as he touched the wall at 2:08.17 in the 200 IM. Smith and West each finished first and second in the 100 butterfly.
Franky Swain took first in the 100 backstroke coming in with a time of 57.41 and Fitzgerald grabbed third. Hoffman recorded his third first place of the day as he touched at 5:09.91 in the 500 freestyle.
Joshua McQueen (5:31.13) and
Robert Midura (5:42.63) finished second and third, respectively. In the 100 breaststroke, Oswald finished first clocking in at 1:03.52 while
Alex Waskiewicz finished second with a time of 1:04.05.
The Blue Jays host Cabrini on November 4 at 1PM.
