ANNVILLE, Pa. -- Junior Carson Wiley led the Elizabethtown College men's cross country team Friday evening at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast Invitational at Union Tunnel Canal Park. The Blue Jays were fourth out of 15 teams.

Friday marked the final race of the regular season schedule for Elizabethtown, a week out from the Landmark Conference Championships in Huntingdon, Pa.

Wiley was the Jays' top finisher, taking 23rd overall in 27:46.93. Jake Smith was also a top-30 finisher for Etown, in 30th, with a final time of 28:02.59.

Carter Balliet placed 36th in 28:19.46. Marty Ratchford was just behind him in 38th at 28:25.82. Alex Fox wrapped up the scoring for Elizabethtown in 43rd at 28:51.52.

The Blue Jays will compete for a Landmark title next Friday, October 27.
