ABINGTON, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown men's tennis team opened their fall season falling to Penn St.-Abington, Saturday morning.
At first doubles,
Max Lauver and
Isaac Reichenbach fell 8-7 (7-5) in the tiebreaker. At second doubles,
Sam Langer and
Luke Paulson fell 8-6.
In first singles Lauver won set one, 6-3 before Penn St.-Abington won, 7-5 to force a third set with the Lions winning, 11-9. At second singles, Langer fell, 6-1, 6-1 and at third singles, Paulson fell, 6-2, 6-2. Reichenbach dropped No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-1 and
Ethan Zelinsky fell 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 singles.
The Blue Jays are back at it tomorrow as they host Immaculata at 11 AM.
