BALTIMORE, Md. -- The Elizabethtown College women's cross country team placed third at the Baltimore Metro Meet on Thursday as the Blue Jays opened their 2022 season. Bridget Kennedy was the top finisher for Etown at the meet.

Kennedy, a senior, placed 26th overall in the race as four runners for Elizabethtown came in between 26th and 37th.

Melissa Fitzgibbon was 28th, Madison Webber took 31st, and Megan Lysek-Hagy was 37th.

Axel Georgieff was the final scoring member for the Jays. She was 43rd overall.

Johns Hopkins won the meet with 24 points.

Elizabethtown will host the Blue Jay Alumni Challenge on Saturday, September 10, at 10:45 a.m.
