TOWSON, Md. - The Elizabethtown College men's tennis team fell to Goucher, 9-0, Saturday afternoon in Landmark Conference action.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in the Landmark, while the Gophers improve to 4-5 on the season and 1-0 in the conference.
After Goucher won all three doubles matches, they continued their run to the 9-0 victory with all six singles victories. Junior
Jeffery Lapidus found the most success at #2 singles, winning three games in the second set before falling 6-0, 6-3 to Joshua Noel.
Elizabethtown is back in action tomorrow, April 10 at Catholic. Opening serve is set for 11 a.m.
