PHILADELPHIA -- The Elizabethtown College women's track and field team had its 4x400m relay in action on Friday at the 126th Penn Relays. The Blue Jays finished fifth in their section in 4:06.06.

Kelty Oaster led off the relay with a 60-second split to put Elizabethtown in third position at the first handoff. Sydney Detky ran the second leg for the Blue Jays and passed the baton on to Victoria Wert, the third leg. Marissa Lapinsky ran anchor for Etown and went sub-60 for her leg, dropping a 59.48 split to overtake Misericordia on the final lap and cross in fifth.

Their time of 4:06.06 is a season-best and the second-fastest time this season in the Landmark Conference.
