HERSHEY, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's golf team closed out the 2021-22 season at the Elizabethtown Spring Invitational Thursday afternoon at the Hershey Country Club East Course.
The Blue Jays entered two teams, as the blue squad carded a +53, 337 for fifth place and the gray team shot a +67, 351 for seventh. Dickinson won the team title with a +18, 302 and also have the individual winner in Colin McMahon-Shea, carding a +2, 73.
Sophomore
David Fetzer led the blue squad, finishing tied for seventh with a +8, 79. Sophomore
Will Holdren was second on the team, carding a +12, 83 to tie for 18th. Rounding out the blue team was sophomore
Jacob Geiter (+13, 84) tying for 21st, senior
Luke Reiter (+20, 91) tying for 33rd, and senior
Brady McLamb (+21, 92) tying for 36th.Â
Sophomore
Zachery Clapper paced the gray team, finishing with a +11, 82 to tie for 15th. Senior
Blake Wallace was just three stroke behind. Clapper, tying for 26th (+14, 85). Sophomore Nicholas Matteson and
Theron Steinbrook each tied for 36th with a +21, 92 and senior
Ed Rainey completed the scoring, carding a +25, 96.
Etown returns seven players next season to a squad that completed its first full season since 2018-19. Thank you seniors
