CARLISLE, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's golf team took home eighth place at the Dickinson Invitational at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course Saturday morning.

The Blue Jays carded a +50, 338 to finish eighth out the nine teams competing. Franklin & Marshall won the team and individual title, scoring +15, 303 as a group to out score second place Dickinson by one stroke. The Diplomats's Mike Gallagher finished even par, carding a 72.

Freshman Jacob Geiter had a career day, finishing with a +7, 79 earning him a tie for 14th. Geiter became the fifth Etown golfer to break 80 this season. His mark also ties him with teammate Blake Wallace for the fourth lowest this year.

Senior Brady McLamb finished just inside the top-30, tying for 29th with a +11, 83. Senior Blake Wallace (37th) and freshman Zachery Clapper (40th) each finished under 90, carding a +15, 87 and a +17, 89 respectively. Senior Ed Rainey rounded out the scoring for the Blue Jays, finishing in a tie for 43rd.

Senior Luke Reiter played as an individual and finished in a tie for 35th with a +13, 85.

Elizabethtown wraps up the regular season portion of its schedule on Thursday, April 2 at its home tournament at the Hershey Country Club. Tee times begin at 12 p.m.
