NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's golf team took part in its second event of the spring, competing at the Moravian Invitational on Wednesday.
The Blue Jays finished in eighth place, carding a +66, 354. Scranton took home the team and individual title with the Royals finishing with a +32, 320 and Liam Burtis squeaking out a one stroke victory with a +1, 73.
Etown had a three way tie for the top spot on the team, as sophomores
David Fetzer and
Will Holdren, and senior
Luke Reiter each carded a +14, 86 to tie for 36th place. Sophomore
Matt Barosi was fourth on the team, finishing in 51st place (+24, 96) followed by sophomore
Nick Matteson in 62nd (+40, 112). Holdren, Reiter, and Barosi each finished the day with a birdie.Â
Elizabethtown is right back to it on Saturday, April 2 at the Dickinson Invitational. Tee times begin at 9 a.m.
