GERMANTOWN, Md. - The Elizabethtown College men's swimming team made a day two push to move into fourth place at the Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday.
The Blue Jays finished day two with 279 points, while Catholic sits in first with 580 points.
Freshman
Connor Oswald started off the day with his first school record, touching the wall in 59.07 in the 100 breast. His program best time was just in front of teammate sophomore
Alex Waskiewicz who finished in 59.86, qualifying the two of the for the finals fourth and fifth respectively. The duo would finish the same in the finals as Oswald finished in 59.57 and Waskiewicz clocked in at 1:00.07.

AJ West, and Waskiewicz earned Etown its first medal of the weekend, taking third place in 1:39.00 and destroying their seed time of 1:41.37.
West followed up that performance with a top-five finish in the 100 fly, touching the wall in fifth place in 52.58. Sophomore
Dylan Fitzgerald rounded out the podium finishes on Saturday for the Blue Jays, finishing in seventh place in the 100 back (55.78).
Elizabethtown will wrap up the 2021-22 season on Sunday, February 20 on the final day of the Landmark Conference Championship. Races begin at 10 a.m.
