BRYN MAWR, Pa.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team split with host Bryn Mawr and Cabrini on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Jays defeated Cabrini, 193-55 and fell to Bryn Mawr, 125-136.
In the first event of the afternoon, the quartet of
Maddey Brelsford, Emma Sabalaske, Kaylee Blair, and
Gracie Harding finished second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:57.08. Hailey Poulos moves into the seventh spot in the Blue Jays top-10 list in the 1000 free with her time of 11:26.83. In the 200 free, Blair claimed the top spot clocking in at 2:02.81. Etown added another first place as Brelsford finished with a time of 1:05.02 in the 100 back. Emma Sabalaske got a piece of first place as she touched the wall at 1:12.07 in the 100 breaststroke. Kortny Green finished third with a time of 1:15.38.
In the 200 fly,
Sarah Marston took first coming in with a time of 2:16.59. In the 50 free, Harding finished first touching the wall at 26.14. In the 100 free, Marston (55.12) finished first while Harding (58.64) finished second. In the 200 back, Brelsford came in with a time of 2:19.97 while Blair finished second with a time of 2:23.45. In the 500 free, Poulos placed second coming in with a time of 5:36.89. Marston took the top spot in the 200 IM clocking in at 2:16.43.
The Blue Jays will host Lebanon Valley at 6 PM on Friday November 11th.
