Women's Swimming Drops to Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- The Elizabethtown women's swim team fell, 187-74 to Catholic University, Saturday afternoon. 

In the first event of the afternoon, the 400 medley relay team took third place clocking in at 4:23.19. Hailey Poulos finished third touching the wall at 11:24.84 in the 1000 freestyle. Sarah Marston claimed first in the 200 freestyle coming in with a time of 2:00.21. In the 100 backstroke, Maddey Brelsford came in fourth with a time of 1:04.83. Lexi Fink finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke clocking in at 1:15.81. In the 200 butterfly, Poulos finished second while Kaylee Blair finished third with a time of 2:26.87. 

In the 50 freestyle, Gracie Harding took third coming in with a time of 26.29 and Olivia Hillman finished fifth coming in with a time of 28.04. Brelsford finished third in the 200 backstroke clocking in at 2:21.84. In the 200 breaststroke, Fink claimed second place touching the wall at 2:42.29. Blair finished third in the 500 freestyle coming in with a time of 5:31.56. Marston added another first place on the day as she clocked in at 1:00.62 in the 100 butterfly. Marston added her final and third first place in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.76. 

The Blue Jays are back in action December 1-3 as they compete in the Drew Ranger Invitational.
