Men's Swimming Falls to Catholic

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- The Elizabethtown men's swim team fell, 181-81 at Catholic University, Saturday afternoon. 

Starting off the day the 400 medley relay team took second with a time of 3:48.67. In the 1000 freestyle, Leif Hoffman took first place clocking in at 10:21.77 while Robert Midura finished fourth with a time of 11:09.47. In the 200 freestyle, Dylan Fitzgerald took second touching the wall at 1:57.91 and Andy Hoch finished third with a time of 1:58.94. Franky Swain claimed the second spot in the 100 backstroke clocking in at 59.27. 

In the 200 butterfly, AJ West finished second coming in with a time of 2:07.79 while Josh McQueen followed coming in with a time of 2:14.39. Dylan Fitzgerald finished third touching the wall at 23.80 with two Blue Jays to follow. Hoffman claimed second in the 200 backstroke as he finished with a time of 2:02.09. Zain Wegman took third in the 200 breaststroke touching the wall at 2:24.65. In the 100 butterfly, Austin Smith finished second and Jack Venza finished third. 

The Blue Jays are back in action December 1-3 as they compete in the Drew Ranger Invitational .
