ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's swimming team won all but two events on its way to the 122-67 victory over Lebanon Valley Wednesday night.
Both freshmen
Robert Midura and
AJ West won two events for the Blue Jays, as Midura took first in the 800 free (9:53.06) and 400 free (4:57.54). West secured his two victories in the 200 free (2:08.08) and 100 fly (1:04.47).Â
Also securing first place finishes for Etown freshman
Dylan Strella in 50 free (26.69), freshman
Zain Wegman in the 200 IM (2:29.81), senior
Sam Lopez in the 100 back (1:11.44),
Kyle Morrill in the 200 breast 2:51.84) and freshman
Connor Oswald in the 100 breast (1:12.28).
Sophomore
Alex Waskiewicz grabbed second place finishes in the 50 free (26.75) and the 100 free (58.29) while Lopez (200 IM, 2:34.32) and Wegman (100 Breast, 1:15.47) each added second place finishes to their tallies.
The Blue Jays earned one relay victory, as Lopez, Oswald, freshman Jack Venza, and Waskiewicz tocuhed the wall in first in the 200 medley relay in 1:58.32.
Elizabethtown is back in action on Saturday, January 15 at F&M against the Diplomats and Susquehanna. Races start at 1 p.m.Â
