GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's swimming team finished in sixth place at the Gettysburg Invitational Saturday afternoon.
The Blue Jays scored 162 points for sixth place while Swarthmore won the team title with 1008 points.
Two Etown swimmers earned top-10 finishes on the final day of the invitational as sophomore
Alex Waskiewicz took 10th in the 200 breast (2:17.45) and freshman
Robert Midura was 10th as well in the 1650 free (18:03.73).

Sam Lopez and freshman
AJ West each scored in multiple events for the Blue Jays as Lopez captured 14th place in the 100 back (59.14) and 15th in the 200 back (2:08.05). West touched the wall in 12th in the 200 fly (2:06.35) and in 13th in 100 fly (54.57). Waskiewicz added to his 10th place finish with a 13th place finish in the 100 breast (1:07.70).
Rounding out the individual scoring for Etown was freshman
Connor Oswald with a 14th place finish in the 200 breast (2:24.20) and sophomore
Dylan Fitzgerald with a 13th place finish in the 100 back (58.17).
Elizabethtown returns to action on Wednesday, January 12 at Lebanon Valley. Races begin at 6 p.m.
