RADNOR, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's swimming team fell to Cabrini, 131-77, Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Blue Jays are now 2-2 on the season.
Freshman
Zain Wegman was the lone winner on the day for Etown, touching the wall first in the 200 breast (2:24.54). Sophomore
Alex Waskiewicz was right behind Wegman in second place, swimming 2:25.16.
Senior
Kale Decker was the only other individual to earn a second place finish, touching the wall in 11:08.49 in the 1000 free.
Both relays showed well at the meet, starting with the quartet of freshmen
Franky Swain,
Connor Oswald,
AJ West, and senior
Sam Lopez in the 200 medley, taking second place (1:44.01).
Freshmen
Liam Quick, Swain,
Andrew Hoch, and
Joshua McQueen wrapped up the meet with a second place as well, combining for 1:36.17 in the 200 free relay.
Elizabethtown returns home Saturday, November 13 to host Stevenson and Catholic. First races begin at 1 p.m.
