ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- After a career year in goal for the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team, junior
Trinity Soto added to her 2021 fall season accolades with an all-region selection from the United Soccer Coaches. Soto becomes the first goalkeeper in program history to earn all-region honors after being selected to the Region V Third Team.
Soto stopped a career-high 86 shots for the Blue Jays this season and helped Elizabethtown advance to its first-ever Landmark Championship after defeating Susquehanna in penalty kicks in the conference semifinals. The West Chester, Pa. native was also named to the All-Landmark First Team, her second all-conference honor.
She is the second player under head coach
Amy Hough to earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region after Lydia Lawson earned three consecutive selections from 2017 to 2019.
