ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - Sophomore
Sarah Marston broke her own school record in the 200 Free as the Elizabethtown College women's swim fell to Catholic, 169-91, Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 3-4 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 2-2.
Marston touched the wall in 1:58.07 to win the 200 free and break her school record (1:58.61) from last year. The sophomore also won the 100 free (55.97) and the 200 IM (2:16.27).
Also earning victories for the Blue Jays were senior
Marin Adams in the 200 fly (2:24.24) and
Maddey Brelsford in the 100 fly (1:04.04).
Touching the wall in second for Elizabethtown was Brelsford in the 100 back (1:05.50) and sophomore
Gracie Harding in the 50 free (26.68). Both relays took second as well as Brelsford, sophomore
Lexi Fink, Marston and Harding teamed up for a time of 4:20.51 in the 400 medley relay and then senior
Robin Hill, sophomore
Maggie Myers, Fink, and Harding swam 1:50.23 in the 200 free relay.
Elizabethtown ends the 2021 portion of its schedule at the Gettysburg Invitational on Friday, December 3. Opening races start at 3 p.m.
