ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's swim team fell to Catholic, 176-84, in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 3-3 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 3-1.
Freshman
AJ West was the only winner on the day for Etown, scoring victories in the 200 fly (2:09.96) and the 100 fly (55.18).
Earning second place finishes for the Blue Jays were junior Kate Decker in the 1000 free (11:13.02), freshman
Franky Swain in the 100 back (59.47), freshman
Connor Oswald in the 100 breast (1:03.51), and freshmanÂ
Zain Wegman in the 200 breast (2:23.94) and the 200 IM (2:12.96).
Rounding out the top-two finishes for Etown was the quartet of Swain, Oswald, West, senior
Sam Lopez. touching the wall in 3:50.10 in the 400 medley relay.
Elizabethtown ends the 2021 portion of its schedule at the Gettysburg Invitational on Friday, December 3. Opening races start at 3 p.m.
