NEWVILLE, Pa. -- For the 16th consecutive regional meet, the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team had an all-region performer.
Kelty Oaster was that runner for the Blue Jays on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional at Big Spring High School. Etown took 9th at the meet with 271 points.
Oaster, a First Team all-conferene runner at the Landmark Championships, kept that streak alive for the Blue Jays. The sophomore finished 16th overall in 24:03.9 to earn the all-region honors.
Bridget Kennedy and
Madison Webber were both among the top 50 runners. Kennedy was 42nd and Webber took 50th.
Amanda Kauffman was 72nd in her first regional meet for Etown.
Brooklyne Wiley finished out the scoring for Elizabethtown with a 103rd-place finish.
Isabel Cardi of Dickinson won the meet and Johns Hopkins earned the regional championship.
