ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- For the first time in her career, Janelle Barna of the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 First Team. She was one of three players from the Landmark to earn the honor.

Not only dominant in the middle of the field, Barna also excels in the classroom. She was one of six women on the District 4 list with at least a 3.99 cumulative grade point average.

First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. The first-, second-, and third-team honorees will be announced in early December.
