BALTIMORE, Md. - The Elizabethtown College women's swimming team won nine individual events and both relays to top Immaculata, 189-57, and Goucher, 159-87, Saturday afternoon.
With the two wins, the Blue Jays start the year 2-0.
Sophomore
Sarah Marston led the way for Etown, winning the 100 free (56.10), 200 free (1:59.53), and the 100 IM (1:04.54).Â
Joining Marston as a multi-individual winner was classmate Maddy Brelsford who touched the wall first in the 100 back (1:06.83) and the 50 fly (29.44).
Other individual winners for Etown were sophomore
Lexi Fink in the 50 breast (34.13), senior
Robin Hill in the 100 fly (1:07.72), freshman
Gracie Harding in the 50 free (26.69) and senior
Marin Adams in the 500 free (6:02.41).
The Blue Jays continued its domination into the relays as Brelsford, Fink, Adams, and Harding teamed up to take the 200 medley relay in 2:02.95. Hill, Harding, junior
Brooke Langowski, and Marston matched that performance, winning the 200 free relay in 1:48.45.
Elizabethtown returns home on Saturday, October 30 to take on Frostburg. Race start at 1 p.m.
