PIKESVILLE, Md. - The Elizabethtown College men's golf team closed the out the fall portion of its schedule, competing at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview on Saturday at the Woodholme Country Club.
The Blue Jays finished in seventh place, scoring a +72, 364. Scranton won the team title, carding a +39, 331 while the Royals' Ethan Zawatski won the individual title with a +4, 77.
Sophomore
David Fetzer led Etown, tying for 21st with a +15, 88. Senior
Luke Reiter finished two strokes behind Fetzer for second on the team with a +17, 90.
Rounding out the scoring for Etown was senior
Evan Kreiser in 30th (+19, 92), sophomore
Matt Barosi tying for 31st (+21, 94), and senior
Blake Wallace in 39th (+29, 102).
Elizabethtown will continue the 2021-22 season in the spring. Opening date is yet to be announced.
