SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College men's swimming team competed against Susquehanna at the annual Schweikert Relays Friday evening.
The Blue Jays opened the 2021-22 season at the unique Schweikert Relays, swimming in a number of different events that are not often contested. The men's team showed its depth and talent in the breaststroke and IM events.

Franky Swain found a win in the 200 back relay, swimming to a first place finish in 1:50.60.
A young crew secured an early victory for Etown, as freshman
Zain Wegman, sophomore
Alex Waskiewicz, freshman
Steven Klinefelter, and freshman
Connor Oswald took home first place in the 200 breast relay with a time of 1:55.59.
Wegman, Waskiewicz, and Oswald teamed up with Lopez to touch the wall first in the men's 4x100 IM in 3:58.47.
The final win for Etown came in the mixed 200 medley relay as freshman
Joshua McQueen and Oswald joined sophomores Maddy Brelsford and Sarah Marston of the women's team to touch the wall first in 1:50.90.
Little rest for the Blue Jays as they hit the road once again tomorrow, October 23 to take on Goucher and Immaculata in Baltimore, Md. First races start at 1 p.m.
