ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Elizabethtown College women's tennis team earned the sweep against Penn College Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Alumni Courts.
With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 2-0 on the season, while the Wildcats fall to 1-6 overall.
Senior
Kailey Caroland  and sophomore
Morgan Bleicher both moved remained undefeated on the season as individuals, as Caroland blanked Georgia Macensky at #1 singles (6-0, 6-0) and Bleicher topped Marcie Harman at #4 singles (6-1, 6-1).
Other Etown players earning victories were freshman
Gabriella Palladini at #2 singles, sophomore
Olivia Richards at #3 singles, sophomore
Kaylee Mustard at #5 singles, and freshman
Karly Simon at #6 singles.
Caroland and Palladini remained perfect on the season at #1 doubles, downing Macensky and Amber Letizel, 8-3. Cleaning up the other two points of the match were RIchards and Bleicher at #2 doubles and Mustard and senior
Maddy Binder at #3 doubles. Mustard and Binder also remain undefeated on the season as a duo.
Elizabethtown awaits the dates of rescheduled matches with Lancaster Bible and Penn State Harrisburg.
