Senior Alex Albenzi of the Elizabethtown College men's golf team was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week, announced by the organization Monday afternoon.

With the unprecedented cancellation of spring sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Landmark Conference will be recognizing an athlete from each member institution in each conference-sponsored spring sport for the remainder of the academic year.

Albenzi appeared in six matches during his career, including a career-high five during his freshman season. Shot a career-low 89 twice that season, including his collegiate debut.

The Coopersburg, Pa. Native will graduate with a degree in Legal and Political Studies.
