ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Lydia Lawson added another top achievement to her ever-growing list after being named to the 2019 D3soccer.com Women's All-America Team. Lawson earn a spot as a forward on the Third Team.
Lawson finished out her career at Elizabethtown as one of the school's all-time greats at the forward position. The senior led the conference in several categories and was named the Offensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive year in 2019.
The Mountain Top, Pa. native doubled as an academic and athletic All-America selection already, being named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team and United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team last month. She is the fifth player in program history to earn all-american honors from her play on the field.
Lawson is the first player for the Blue Jays to be named a D3soccer.com All-America selection in the ten years that they have produced a Women's All-America Team. She is the lone representative of the Landmark Conference between the three teams.
