READING, Pa. – The Elizabethtown women's swimming team fell to Albright, 149-111, Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 4-5 on the season, while the Lions improve to 4-4.
Earning first place victories for the Blue Jays was sophomore
Robin Hill in the 1000 free (11:54.54), classmate
Marin Adams in the 200 fly (2:23.24) and freshman
Zoe Bender in the 200 breast (2:51.98).
Sophomore
Robin Hill continued her solid afternoon, taking second place in the 100 free (58.48) and the 100 fly (1:05.13). Bender also added a second place finish to her day in the 100 breast (1:18.79). Joining them was freshman
Olivia Eason in the 100 back (1:08.40) and 100 IM (1:09.75), freshman
Brooke Langowski in the 50 free (27.65) and senior
Sara Lingo in the 200 back (2:22.64).
Relays touching the wall in second was Lingo, Bender, Adams and Langowski in the 200 medley relay (2:05.17) and senior
Sadie Hawkins, sophomore
Cate Falkenstein, Langowski and
Robin Hill in the 200 free relay (1:51.56).
The Blue Jays are back in action on Friday, Jan. 31 when they host Arcadia for senior day. First race is set to go off at 5:30 p.m.
