ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elizabethtown men's swim team fell to Scranton, 121-84, Wednesday evening in Landmark Conference action.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference, while the Royals improve to 5-2 on the season and 2-1 in the Landmark
Junior
Alex Pecher highlighted the meet for Elizabethtown, earning two first place finishes in the 50 free (22.95) and the 100 BACK (54.04). Also earning first place finishes for the Blue Jays was sophomore
Sam Lopez in the 200 IM (2:09.89), senior
Casey Marshall in the 100 Fly (53.09) and freshman
Kale Decker in the 1000 free (10:59.77).
Swimmers earning second place finishes for Elizabethtown was Pecher, freshman
Logan Miller, Marshall and Lopez in the 200 medley relay (1:41.48), freshman
Nathan Tindell in the 1000 free (11:08.97), junior
Austin Dolaway in the 200 free (1:52.23), Marshall in the 50 free (23.20) and senior
Brian Sylvestri, junior
Ryan Weber, Decker and Dolaway in the 400 free relay (3:38.79).
The men's swim team is back in action this Saturday, Jan. 18 at York. First race is set for 1 p.m.
