ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elizabethtown men's soccer team scored two second half goals for its third straight win, topping Arcadia 2-0 in non-conference action Saturday night.

Senior

Tate Mohney both tallied assists.
After a scoreless opening half, the Blue Jays struck off a corner kick in the 68th minute. Haaf and Mohney played it quickly off the restart, whipping in a cross from the left side. Sheva met the cross, flicking it on to the far post for the 1-0 lead.
Knox III gave Elizabethtown its insurance goal in the 77th minute after a hectic play. Senior
Duncan George forced a scramble in the box after battling for a 50/50 ball with the Arcadia keeper, Jake Varrato. The ball squirted out and Knox III was there to knock in his first goal of the season and give the Blue Jays the 2-0 advantage.
Freshman
Kelvin Del Cid (4-2-1) tallied his second consecutive shutout, not having to make a single save but controlling the Blue Jays' defensive third all night.
Sophomore Jake Varrato (4-4) started in goal for the Knights, making four saves on 17 shots. Classmate Colin Smith relieved Varrato late and was not called on to make a save.
Elizabethtown is back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 25 against arch-rival Messiah. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
