CARLISLE, Pa. -- In their first meet of the season, the Elizabethtown College women's cross country team took third out of seven teams participating in the Light Up The Night Invite hosted by Dickinson College. E-town ended the meet with a team score of 62 points.

First in for the Blue Jays was sophomore Melissa Fitzgibbon, who was seventh overall and one of two for Elizabethtown in the top 10. Fitzgibbon finished in 19:22.1, averaging 6:14/mile.

Kaitlin Donahue placed 10th overall in 19:44.0. The final three scoring members came in over the next seven finishers. Erin Doherty was 13th in 19:59.1, Hallie Weaver was 15th in 20:11.9, and Brooklyne Wiley took 189th in 20:40.1.

All seven runners for E-town at the meet were inside the top 24.

The women's cross country team will host their Blue Jay Alumni Challenge next Saturday, September 7.
