BALTIMORE, Md. -- In a battle of Blue Jays, Johns Hopkins finished Wednesday night's dual with the Elizabethtown College wrestling team as a 30-12 victor. Hopkins won seven of the ten bouts, including one by forfeit, to take down E-town. A point deduction was made from Elizabethtown's final score for an in-match infraction, bringing the 13-point total down to 12.

Josh McLaughlin started Elizabethtown (2-10) off right with a decision at 125. The sophomore beat out Johns Hopkins' (6-8) Jeremy Berger to earn three points and put E-town ahead 3-0.

Nationally-ranked Ricky Cavallo tied it at 3-3 with a decision at 133. Nick Gonzalez was given the win by forfeit as Elizabethtown was back in the lead, 9-3.

Six straight wins for Hopkins put the host Blue Jays up 30-9 going into the heavyweight matchup between Max Rhoden and Henri Behaeghel. Rhoden didn't allow the Hopkins' 285-pounder to score any points and blanked him 9-0 in a major decision.

Luke Moynihan won by decision over Yosef Ellis-Rech, 8-5, in exhibition.

The wrestling team will turn its sights toward next weekend's Mideast Regional Championships at the College of Brockport in Brockport, N.Y. that runs Saturday, February 23, through Sunday, February 24.
