2019 CoSIDA Academic All-America Division III Soccer Teams

AUSTIN, Texas --
On Tuesday, CoSIDA announced its Academic All-America Division III Men's and Women's Soccer Teams. Lydia Lawson earned a spot on the Third Team for the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team, the program's first Academic All-America honoree since 2003.

A few weeks earlier, Lawson was named to the Academic All-District 4 First Team for the second consecutive season, becoming the first athlete since Laura Wingert in 2011 and 2012 to receive the honor in back-to-back seasons.

Lawson is one of three players from the Landmark Conference to earn Academic All-America status, along with Madison Welliver (Susquehanna) and Rebecca Russo (Scranton).

The senior is the fourth Academic All-America honoree for the women's program overall and third different player (Nicole Hundley, Megan Halladay). Halladay was a two-time honoree for the Blue Jays (2002 and 2003).
