2019 United Soccer Coaches All-Mid-Atlantic Teams
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Monday afternoon, the United Soccer Coaches announced its 2019 all-region teams.
Lydia Lawson was named to the All-Mid-Atlantic First Team after a career senior season for the Elizabethtown College women's soccer team.
Lawson finished the season with 22 goals and five assists for 49 points, with the goal and point totals being career highs for the Holy Redeemer graduate. She led the Landmark in those categories while also breaking several season and career records for both the conference and the program.
A two-time Third Team selection, Lawson became the first athlete from E-town to earn First Team status since Amy Bunting and Laura Wingert both appeared on the First Team in 2012.
Lawson is also just the fifth player in program history to be named all-region three times in her career. She joins Meredith Uber, Dana Moyer, Jenna Russo, and Bunting as the only players to achieve the feat.
