WASHINGTON D.C. – The Elizabethtown women's swim team dropped its first swim meet of the season, falling to Catholic, 199-63, Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Blue Jays fall to 3-1 on the season and 1-1 in the conference, while the Cardinals improve to 2-1 overall and in the Landmark.
Sophomores
Robin Hill and
Marin Adams locked up Elizabethtown's two victories, as Hill was first in the 200 free in 2:05.58, while Adams touched the wall in 2:23.77 in 200 fly.
Hill scored a second place finish in the 100 fly (1:04.53), while senior
Sara Lingo snatched up a second place finish in the 1000 free (11:40.52) and 200 back (2:20.98).
Elizabethtown returns home to take on Bryn Mawr and Cabrini on Saturday, Nov. 16. First races start at 1 p.m.
