Women's cross country wins 6th straight Landmark championship!

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Elizabethtown College women's cross country team successfully defended its Landmark Conference championship on Saturday, holding off Moravian for its sixth straight league crown and 13th in a row overall.

Melissa Fitzgibbon was the runner-up as she came through with her highest championship finish, taking second in 23:09.62. Erin Doherty and Kaitlin Donahue were also in the top five for Elizabethtown. Doherty finished fourth and Donahue was fifth. All three earned First Team honors.

Brooklyne Wiley was also an all-conference performer for the Jays as she finished 14th. Hallie Weaver closed out the scoring for E-town, taking 20th.

Elizabethtown edged Moravian for the team championship with a meet-low 45 points. The Greyhounds finished with 57.

Head coach Brian Falk was named the Landmark Coach of the Year after guiding the Blue Jays to a sixth straight conference title.
