ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore
Evan Kreiser earned a top-10 finish as the Elizabethtown men's golf team competed at the Gettysburg College Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Hanover Country Club.
The Blue Jays finished in a tied for 12th with Widener, carding a 353, +69. Host Gettysburg won the team title (304, +20), while John David Coffin of Marymount took home the individual title (71, E).
Kreiser finished in a tie for sixth, registering a 75, +4, just four strokes behind the leader. Classmate
Blake Wallace followed up Kreiser with an 83, +12, tying for 35th place.
Rounding out the day for Elizabethtown was junior
Andrew Fisher (96, +25), sophomore
Brady McLamb (99, +28) and junior
Joseph Sarich (119, +48).
The men's golf team scomplete the fall portion of its schedule on Monday, Oct. 21, at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational. Teams tee off at 12 p.m.
