ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Elizabethtown women's swim team opened the home portion of its schedules with wins over Goucher (126-75) and Immaculata (140-48) Saturday afternoon.

The women's team racked up eight first place finishes and three second place finishes, carrying them to the dominating victories.
Senior
Sara Lingo led the way for the Blue Jays, securing three individual first place finishes, winning the 200 IM (2:25.73), the 100 back (1:07.01) and the 500 free (5:53.19).
Also having a hand in three first place finishes was freshman
Brooke Langowski, taking the top spot in the 50 free (27.88), while teaming up with freshman
Abigail Mehring, freshman
Zoe Bender and sophomore
Marin Adams in the 200 medley relay (2:05.17) and senior
Sadie Hawkins, Mehring and sophomore
Robin Hill in the 200 free relay (1:50.47).
Hawkins (200 free) and Hill (100 free) snatched up the final two first place finishes for Elizabethtown in 2:11.00 and 58.70 respectively.
Earning second place honors for the Blue Jays was Hill in the 1,000 free (11:28.84), Mehring in the 50 free (28.25) and Bender in the 100 breast (1:16.88).
The women's swim team hits the road for its next two meets, starting Saturday, Nov. 2, at Frostburg. Start time is set for 1 p.m.
